The eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD was truly cataclysmic, wiping out the entire populations of nearby towns, including Pompeii. This disaster ultimately yielded to history one of the most extensive and intact ruins of an ancient city. The force of the eruption was thousands of times greater than an atomic bomb, but a combination of ash and dryness helped preserved much of Pompeii. Visitors to Pompeii will gain extraordinary insight into city life circa Roman days by viewing the buildings, objects, and artworks that have been frozen in time.

Pompeii is one of Italy’s most visited sites, attracting thousands of tourists annually. Skip-the-line tickets will save you hours of waiting.  Pompeii might be stuck in time, but that's no reason to be stuck in line.

How do I get my tickets?
Your e-tickets will be emailed directly to you shortly after your booking is complete. Bring a printed copy of the tickets to Pompeii, or present the tickets via mobile phone.

How long is my ticket valid?
Your ticket is valid for the day you choose

Please use the Porta Marina Superiore or Porta Marina Inferiore (Piazza Esedra) entrance. If you go to the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance, you won't be able to skip the line.
