What is Tosca about?
This dramatic story of overwhelming passion takes place amidst the perils of war. Set in Rome at the time of Napoleon's advance to the city we get to meet the famous singer Floria Tosca, her lover Cavaradossi and the Chief of police - Scarpia. Love, betrayal and murder is what makes this opera a true Italian masterpiece.
