This year Ticmate will make our yearly donation in advance to the humanitarian aid organization Doctors Without Borders since the Swedish real estate billionaire Roger Akelius has promised to double all donations to the organization made during the month of December.
Every year Ticmate donates 10% of its profits to charity. Up until now, Ticmate has donated a total of 2.1 million SEK to charity. Since 2011, Ticmate has worked together with Doctors Without Borders and so far they have received 1.94 million SEK.
“Until now we have kept a low profile about our donations, but I’d like to inspire other companies to the same and therefore I think it’s important that we who donate to charities also tell about it”, said Ticmate’s founder and CEO Marcus Moeschlin in his interview to the Sweden’s leading financial newspaper ‘Dagens Industri’.
Last year Ticmate donated 500.000 SEK to Doctors Without Borders and Marcus Moeschlin hopes to reach the same amount again this year, and thereby reaching a million Swedish krona with Akelius’ doubling of the donation.
